About Sail Plymouth 2010
On September 6, 1620 the Mayflower left for America with 102 passengers. Ahead of them lay
miles of open ocean to cross and on December 11, 1620 they stepped upon the shore of
Plymouth.
Known as "America's Hometown" Plymouth is home to many historic sites dating back to the
Pilgrims of 1620.
Plymouth has always embraced its nautical traditions and with excitement the Plymouth Area
Chamber of Commerce presents the second annual Sail Plymouth!
The three-day Sail Plymouth will feature tall ships, a WWII PT Boat, Parade of Boats, Daily
Boat Tours and much more!
