Forms for the 2010 Boat Parade!
Important Information
All boats must report to the staging area by 8:15 pm or they will lose their place in the
parade.
Parade will start at 8:30 pm sharp.
Parade channel is VHF82. If you need to talk to another boat, hail on 82 and switch
channels.
Boats must adhere to the instructions of the parade staff and the Plymouth Harbor
Master.   
The Parade reserves the right to grant/deny any application.
All boats must submit valid insurance along with the application below.
Decorating Guidelines & Tips
The parade will be seen by thousands
of spectators.
The more lights the better.
Use sound to enhance your
presentation. Face speaker towards
the shoreline.
Use props, costumes, characters, and
spotlights to enrich your display.
Choose a theme.
Boat numbers must be visible to the
viewing stage.

2009 Boat Parade Judges
Steven James - President of Boston Big Game Fishing Club, Organizer of the 23rd Annual
Monster Shark Tournament, Newport Monster Shark Tournament, and the South Shore Tuna
Tournament.  Board of Director for the Green Harbor Tuna Club.
Cliff Sampson - Plymouth Yacht Club Commodore, as well as a Plymouth Community
Intermediate School Tech Ed teacher for grades 7 & 8.
Peter Arnstam - Worked as harbor tour boat operator in Plymouth in the 1980's.  Went
to boat building school in Maine, worked as an instructor and freelance boat builder.  Licensed
captain for sailing vessels and power vessels.  Build and maintain boats for Plimoth Plantation.  
Responsible for care and upkeep and sailing of Mayflower II.  (title: Manager of Maritime
Artisans Dept) Director of Massachusetts Bay Maritime Artisans at the Jones River Landing in
Kingston.
